LUCY Mecklenburgh has slammed Roxanne Pallett's apology to her boyfriend Ryan Thomas as a "performance".
The actress, 35, accused Ryan of punching her during a play fight in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this month.
Roxanne quit the show last week after claiming Ryan intentionally "punched her like a punch bag".
She later backtracked on her words and admitted she was "wrong" about the situation during awkward
interviews with Jeremy Vine and Emma Willis.
Ryan's girlfriend, former Towie star Lucy, told : "‘I have my reservations about whether her apologies were genuine but she’s said what she needed to say and it can’t have been easy for her to face the music like that.
"As long as she now gets the help she needs then I think it’s time we all draw a line under it. The most important thing for me is that she never does this to anyone else.
"To me, her interviews with Emma and Jeremy seemed like a performance and something she knew she needed to do.
"As long as she goes away and works on her problems I think she should be left alone and I think Ryan would agree."
Fitness fanatic Lucy also said the feud was "draining" to watch, but admitted it has only made her more proud of her boyfriend.
She added: "A lot of people wouldn't forgive her but Ryan handled himself with grace – it's made me love him more.
"Seeing the way he handled it in the house actually made me fall in love all over again."
Lucy, who has been dating Ryan since last year, is also planning a big welcome home party after the live CBB final tonight.
Roxanne caused public outcry with her allegations, with many of her former co-stars coming forward to defend Ryan, and more than 11,000 viewers complaining to Ofcom.
The actor is now favourite to win the Channel 5 series against Kirstie Alley, Dan Osborne, Sally Morgan, Nick Leeson and Gabby Allen.
