Selena Gomez smoulders in sultry new Elle shoot as she reveals she’s supporting pal Demi Lovato after her overdose and has given up using the internet

SELENA Gomez has broken her silence on pal Demi Lovato's overdose during her new shoot with Elle.
The actress, 26, revealed she reached out to her long-time friend "personally", after giving up social media and the Internet.
In the , the pop star expressed her heartbreak over Demi's struggles, which saw her check into rehab after an overdose last month.
She and Demi met as kids on the set of Barney and Friends, and remained close throughout their teenage years as Disney Channel stars.
Touching upon her friend's difficult time, Selena said: “All I’m saying is, I reached out personally.
"I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I…I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven. So…it’s…that’s what I’ll say."
Demi was left fighting for her life last month after a 12-hour session of partying at her home.
She last posted on social media at the start of August, when she assured fans she will "keep fighting" in order to overcome her addiction.
Selena too has been staying away from the online world, and admitted she has no apps or passwords saved on her phone, as she wants to concentrate on the "real" events around her.
She explained: "As far as my personal life, someone sees me having a glass of wine? I could give two s***s. I'm not trying to hide.
"But it's about making a conscious effort—if I can have a moment to be with my friends, I'll take that time. So, I don't have any of it."
And it seems the online detox has worked for the actress, who said she feels happier and more "stable" than ever, after turning 26 in July.
She added: "Right now, I feel very sure of where I am. I don’t feel erratic or emotionally unstable.
"Or like I can’t handle my emotions, like I used to. It’s kind of understanding myself a little more."

Selena stunned during the jungle-themed shoot, which saw her slip into in a sexy leopard print mini dress, before glamming up in a plunging sequin top.
She wore minimal make-up and styled her hair into a full fringe, to finish her mature look as she sultrily posed for the shoot.
Selena is currently working on her sixth album, which marks her first release since 2015.
