Andy Carroll takes a swipe at ex Billi Mucklow as he gushes over new love Lou Teasdale

ANDY Carroll has taken a huge swipe at his ex and baby-mamma Billi Muckow as he opened up on his new relationship.

The footballer, 35, gushed over new partner Lou Teasdale's festive traditions after the pair went Instagram official in October.

Just a month earlier, The Sun was first to reveal how sports star Andy and former TOWIE star Billi, 36 were set to divorce, after two turbulent years of marriage.

Now, Andy has spoken candidly about his "different world" with celebrity stylist artist Lou, 41, shortly after the pair jetted off on their first holiday together as a couple.

The striker, who plays for French side FC Girondins de Bordeaux, gushed of his new romance: "I've seen a different world since I've been with Lou.

"This Christmas, like she does every Christmas, she will go with her daughter to look after the isolated elderly."

He added to : "She's a volunteer for Choose Love and a campaigner for LGBTQ+.

"She says to me, 'Why would you hate anyone?''

"That's someone I need in my life."

The former Liverpool striker confirmed his romance with Lou during their first sun-soaked holiday as a couple.

The pair cuddled up on a lounger at the Balneario Beach Club in Mallorca after footballer Andy whisked Lou away to celebrate her 41st birthday.

The Sun on Sunday revealed in September how Andy had split from reality star wife Billi after 11 years together.

In a statement, dad-of-three Andy said: "Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings.

"It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children."

The couple tied the knot in 2022.

Yet their nuptials were overshadowed by Andy's wild partying in Dubai just two weeks before when he was photographed passed out in bed beside a woman on his stag do.

Following the separation, a source told us: "Andy and Billi care about each other a lot and have made some great memories together, but decided it was best for the family if they went their separate ways having grown apart.

"They’re still focusing on the kids and being the best parents they can be and being respectful of each other.

"They want the process to be straightforward for everyone involved. Andy has been throwing himself into his football."

With the relationship breakdown finally out in the open and rumours swirling about his connection with Lou, Andy decided to bite the bullet and go public with his new partner.

An insider said: “Andy and Lou are really loved-up and want to spend all their free time together.

“Andy is based in France at the moment, with Lou living in London, so he wanted to do something special for her birthday.

"They chose the hotel as it’s supercool and swanky, and nestled in the mountains away from tourists and crowds.”

Meanwhile, Billi was spotted letting her hair down as she turned 37 last month.

The yoga teacher also showed off her new look amid an impressive body transformation.
