RIHANNA has slammed fans after they asked for answers on her long-awaited new album with the singer reminding them that she's "trying to save the world".
released her last album, ANTI, in 2016 and ever since fans have been clamoring for new music.
But during an Instagram Live on Saturday she hit out after comments focused on when fans may hear new music - and also slammed the President Trump.
"If one of y’all motherf**kers ask me about the album one more time when I’m tryna save the world, unlike y’all president….on sight," she said to the camera.
Rihanna has so far donated $5 million to global coronavirus relief via her Clara Lionel Foundation, and also pledged to donate another $1 million alongside Jay-Z to help those in New York and Los Angeles, two of the worst hit cities in the US.
The Umbrella singer also revealed that her donations will be particularly aimed at domestic violence victims who are at risk of the violence getting worse due to being at home.
If, or when, Rihanna releases a new album, it will be her ninth studio album.
"Rihanna has over a hundred songs either fully recorded and produced, various beats and tons of lyrics and plenty of unfinished songs scattered around for consideration for her next album," a source close to the star told .

But the insider admitted that Rihanna has found it "a struggle" to ensure the right songs will be on the record.
"She knows that her fans are jonesing for more from her and now with the world as it is, it is putting all her focus to get new music out there quicker than she anticipated," the source added.
