Mr Moran owns a swanky apartment block in West London where he charges £8 million a year in revenue from rents and service charges.

More than 100 prostitutes advertised at one stage as operating out of the Chelsea Cloisters apartment block.

The donor, who says he has no knowledge of the prostitution at the property, gave Mr Johnson, Tory MP Conor Burns and DUP leader Arlene Foster a seat on the flight.

Mr Burns declared a “donation in kind” worth £1,308 from Mr Moran for his travel back to the capital in the Commons register of members’ interests.

Mr Johnson declared £355.94 “hospitality and travel” from the DUP to Belfast. He paid for the return flight with businessman Moran personally and didn’t need to disclose it.

Mr Moran attended the rally in his role as the chair of Cooperation Ireland which aims to bolster links between Britain and Northern Ireland.

He is worth an estimated £404 million and has donated £290,000 to the Tory party personally or through his companies.

When details first emerged about his property, his lawyers revealed he had a “zero tolerance” approach to prostitution and had little or no involvement with running the block on a daily basis.
