HARRY MAGUIRE was thrown a surprise party by his friends and family as he returned home from his Russian adventure.
The defender was a major success story as he helped England reach the World Cup semi-finals, before an extra-time loss to Croatia.
So on returning to the UK, it was only right he was given a hero's welcome for his performance wearing that famous three-lions emblazoned shirt.
As his loved ones gathered in the back garden, the 1996 anthem Three Lions by Baddiel & Skinner and the Lightning Seeds boomed out from a speaker.
Those gathered for the party kept quiet, and finally the man of the moment appeared in the doorway holding one of his dogs.
There were plenty of hugs and kisses to be given out, as those present paid tribute to a man who the nation have well and truly taken to their hearts this summer.
And Maguire was even wearing his England shirt too.
His performances out in Russia are bound to have alerted some of Europe's biggest clubs.
So as SunSport has previously reported, this has forced his club side Leicester to prepare a bumper new £75,000-a-week deal to stay with the Foxes.
Maguire played every minute in the top-flight last season and boss Claude Puel wants to build his side around the centre-back.
With Riyad Mahrez joining Manchester City for £60m, the club are keen to send out a strong message their top players are not for sale this summer.
