Scotland is running out of Croatia shirts as Scots turn out for England’s semi-final opponents

Thousands of Scottish footie fans have been supporting England's opponents throughout the World Cup

SCOTLAND is running out of Croatia shirts as footie fans north of the border continue to back England’s opponents in the World Cup.

Shops have been inundated with requests from locals who want to purchase the striking chequered kit before England's semi-final crunch match tonight.

Greaves Sports in Glasgow said that it has “completely sold out” and a search on their site indicates that the shirt is no longer available to buy.

A spokesman for the Nike shop in Glasgow told The Times: “We have been absolutely inundated with requests for Croatia shirts.”

Thousands of Scots have been backing England’s opponents throughout the World Cup and will continue to do so when Gareth Southgate’s men try and book their place in the final this evening.

Some 10,000 England fans will be in Moscow today for England’s first semi-final in 28 years.

Hundreds of fans were wearing Southgate's trademark waistcoast in the capital after supplies were parachuted in for our #WaistcoatWednesday appeal.

World Cup fever is continuing to grip the country and 37million people are expected to tune in and watch the match on TV at 7pm.
