PSG defender was clearly overjoyed to have reached Sunday's final in Moscow

PRESNEL KIMPEMBE risked injuring his teammates during France's victorious World Cup celebrations on Tuesday night amid the madness that followed the final whistle.

Fortunately, the 22-year-old appeared to run into the side of the group and fell onto the top of them.

It came amid jubilant scenes at the final whistle in Saint Petersburg.

Samuel Umtiti's header six minutes into the second half sent France into their third World Cup final in 20 years.

They beat a Belgium side that threatened throughout the first-half with the pace and skill of Eden Hazard on the left.

But France took control in the second half.

Kimpembe's defensive team-mates Umtiti and Raphael Varane stood firm against Belgium's dangerous front line.

Les Bleus will now face either England or Croatia in Sunday's final.

Gareth Southgate's side play in their first semi-final in 28 years on Wednesday against Croatia who have never reached the final.
