World Cup 2018: Thousands of empty seats at France semi-final clash against Belgium
Biggest game of the tournament so far has plenty of spaces across the Saint Petersburg Stadium
FANS pointed out the World Cup semi-final has hundreds of empty seats.
France are taking on Belgium at the Saint Petersburg Stadium for a place in Sunday's final.
But the arena is far from full to capacity as a mass of seats are not filled.
This has been an ongoing issue in Russia, with England's quarter-final against Sweden also seeing a huge number of empty places in Samara.
German fans are believed to have bought - and sold back - 10,000 tickets in anticipation their team would have been in the quarter-final.
The English Football Association sold 2,500 to Three Lions fans, and tickets were being sold for around £30 on the day of the game.
Germany failed to reach the knockout stages after finishing bottom of Group F.
But Joachim Low's side would have been on the other side of the draw, featuring in Wednesday night.
Instead, England take on Croatia in the other semi-final in Moscow.
The final will be played on Sunday night, which will also take place in the Russian capital.
