HARRY MAGUIRE has been England's most impressive defender in Russia — but he may not even be the best in his family.
Maguire, who has risen to prominence in Russia, is being supported by his sister Daisy and she's described as "a beast of a defender" who "took few prisoners" on the pitch.
The 18-year-old has been part of Maguire's supporting cast at the World Cup, along with his parents and two brothers, Joe and Laurence.
But while Maguire has starred for the Three Lions, the talent may be in the genes.
Daisy, who works in fashion now, represented Handsworth Parramore Ladies as well as Sheffield United, the club where Maguire began his career.
A former coach told the that Daisy was a tough-tackling midfielder.
Bob Goldsmith said: "She was fearless and committed compared to some of the other players.
"She was just a typical defender - just like her big brother.
"Daisy was a good player and what she lacked in technique she more than made up for it with her attitude."
She has been one of Maguire's most vocal supporters.
Following his goal in Saturday's quarter-final win over Sweden, she showed her excitement on social media.
The teen wrote: "Best feeling ever when your brother scores for England in the quarter finals of the World Cup Next stop Moscow."
She will be hoping that feeling gets even better on Wednesday.
England face Croatia in Moscow for a place in Sunday's World Cup final.
