Samuel Umtiti, Benjamin Pavard and N'Golo Kante trained separately from the rest of the squad, jogging around the Krestovsky Stadium with a member of the coaching staff.

Boss Didier Deschamps insists their omission was tactical and that he has his entire squad fit for tomorrow night.

He said: "Nobody is out even though we rested four of our players today - that was a precautionary measure.

"Everyone should be operational for tomorrow."

Mbappe was mocked by team-mates Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Ben Mendy for falling asleep on the flight.

France, who were beaten in the Euro 2016 final by Portugal, are favourites to win the tournament.

But skipper Hugo Lloris insists Belgium are the ones to watch after beating Brazil.
