ENGLAND fan ‘Carmen Holmes’ believes football really is ‘Carmen home’ - and she should know.
The barmaid, 25, has been swept up by England’s World Cup excitement - and has dropped the ‘L’ from her name for as long as they stay in the tournament.
She says she will even consider making the official if Gareth Southgate’s bring the trophy back with them in eight days time.
Carmen, of Reading, admits she is chuffed to share her name with the famous chant from England anthem ‘Three Lions’.
She said: “You can trust me on this everyone - it really is Carmen Holmes.
"Of course the song has been stuck in my head - I’m sure it will be for the rest of my life.

“Believe it or not - until this World Cup I never realised how similar my name is.
“But because the team are doping such a good job you can’t escape it at the moment.
“Everywhere you go people are chanting it.
“The team’s performance have got everyone in such high spirits.
“There’s just good vibes and the sun is shining."
WAGs go nuts over water hell
ENGLAND’S WAGs were left horrified when water in their five-star hotel turned yellow.
The group of ten wives and girlfriends staying in St Petersburg have refused to touch the water for fear of contamination.
A source close to them said: “They went absolutely nuts when they saw it.
“They insisted it was checked out to make sure it is safe.”
Those in the party include Dele Alli’s girlfriend Ruby Mae, Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah, and Harry Kane’s fiancée Katie Goodland.
Meanwhile, footie-mad namesake Carmen Holmes, 85, thinks there is the same buzz building as there was in 1966.
Confident Carmen, of Matlock, Derbys, joked: “Fans can read this and know, finally, it really is Carmen Holmes.”

The mum - a Harry Kane fan - added: “This team has fresh blood and fresh energy.
"It’s what we needed.
“I believe we can do it against Sweden, but we need to be patient.
“In lots of ways the game will suit us more than Colombia - but we’re going to have to graft for it.
Wimbles warning on cheers
ENGLAND fans sneakily watching the match on their phones at Wimbledon face being kicked off court.
The game is set to clash with Britain’s last tennis hope Kyle Edmund’s battle against Novak Djokovic.
But strict Wimbledon rules state phones and other devices must be turned off during play. No footie games are being shown on site.
A source said fans who cheer if England score face “big trouble”.
Kyle, 23, may play at 4pm and is a big footie fan himself. He said: “Hopefully it can be a great day for England all round.”
“What’s important is we build from the back.
“Sweden have already shown they can hurt teams on the counter.
“It’s easy to compare players’ clubs and tell yourself this will be easy.
"But Sweden are up for it.”
