World Cup 2018: Jordan Pickford’s future father-in-law in wild celebration after England penalty kick heroics against Colombia

JORDAN PICKFORD's future father-in-law shared his jubilant reaction as the keeper's heroics in the penalty shoot-out saw England past Colombia and into the World Cup quarter-finals.
With girlfriend Megan Davison in the stands, Pickford kept out Carlos Bacca's spot kick to set up Eric Dier's winning penalty, and as England erupted, Davison's dad Gary was no different.
Gary, unable to contain his emotions as Dier slotted past Colombia's David Ospina, shouted: 'my boy's a f***ing hero', 'f***ing get in' and 'get in you b******'.
Pickford has been with childhood sweetheart Megan since he was 14, having first met while they were both still in school.
Megan, 22, is a university graduate and was spotted cheering her man on as he became a national hero with one swing of his arm.
The Bacca save came after Pickford had flown spectacularly to his left to deny Mateus Uribe's long-range effort and maintain the lead given to England by captain Harry Kane.
But from the resulting corner, Colombia centre-back Yerry Mina thundered a header in off the turf and England were once again met by a sinking feeling as they sought to win a first tournament knock-out game since 2006.
Thirty goalless minutes of extra time had the nation fearing the worst and so it came just shy of 9:30pm as the referee blew the whistle for penalties - a format England had been found wanting in in their four previous attempts.
After 1998, 2002, 2006, 2012 and the memory of the Italia 90 semi-final heartbreak, history was against this Three Lions side.
Only this time, England won, scoring four of their five penalties and relieved to see Uribe denied by the crossbar immediately after Jordan Henderson had had his kick saved by Ospina.
Pickford, 24, is yet to keep a clean sheet at this summer's tournament in Russia but has remained impressive throughout after winning the starting job in Gareth Southgate's side ahead of Stoke's Jack Butland.
Having joined Sunderland's academy aged eight, 'Picky' was loaned out to an astonishing SIX clubs before establishing himself as the club's No1 in 2016/17 under David Moyes.
His early career took him to the likes of Darlington and Alfreton Town before getting his first taste of Football League action with Burton Albion.
A year ago he was rewarded for his patience and performances between the sticks with a £30million move to Everton, making him the most expensive British goalkeeper in history.
England's tournament, which hung in the balance after Mina's equaliser on Tuesday night, now charges forward, with the next task to beat Sweden in Samara on Saturday afternoon.
Harry Kane now tops the World Cup Golden Boot charts with six, the joint-highest ever by an Englishman at a single tournament alongside Gary Lineker in 1986.
Key to any England success in Russia will be Pickford, who recovered from criticism after Adnan Januzaj curled the ball past him in England's 1-0 defeat to Belgium last week.
Hoping to continue proving his doubters wrong, Pickford will now be one of the first names on Southgate's teamsheet for another crucial clash against Sweden.
