ROMELU LUKAKU has skipped training two days out from Belgium's Group G showdown against England.
The Manchester United striker has been in fine form this tournament but is a doubt to line up on Thursday night due to an ankle injury.
Lukaku, 25, has four goals after two World Cup clashes - leaving him one behind Three Lions star Harry Kane in the golden boot race.
But Michy Batshuayi, who had a fine finish to the season with Borussia Dortmund, could get a chance to stake his claim if Lukaku fails to recover in time.
Whoever leads the line for Belgium, England's defenders will know them well after their spells in the Premier League.
Red Devils boss Roberto Martinez has already claimed it would be "very risky and a real gamble" to play his booked players - Kevin De Bruyne, Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Meunier - against England.

If Lukaku also misses out, Gareth Southgate faces the prospect of meeting a significantly weakened side.
But Martinez insisted his top goalscorer's injury was nothing too serious yesterday.
He said: "We had a scan and the news was positive, but I think we need to wait for another 24 hours.
"But there is no damage. There is nothing to be worried. Probably in the next 48 hours we’ll know whether he can be involved against England or not.”
With both teams already through, England could yet rest some stars as there have been suggestions finishing second could prove to be an advantage.
Colombia could potentially miss out on top spot to Japan or Senegal, which would provide a tricky last-16 tie for the winners of Group G.
Belgium looked extremely relaxed in training despite Lukaku's absence as they managed to complete the head-tennis bucket challenge on the third attempt.
