World Cup 2018: Mexico rule out fielding weakened team against Sweden as they look to win group ahead of Germany
Latin Americans have no intention of resting players ahead of final group match as they look to make history at Russia 2018
MEXICO skipper Andres Guardado has ruled out a stand-off, insisting his hombres will be going all out to try to win the World Cup.
The El Tri midfielder has warned their rivals in Russia they do not fear anybody at the Finals.
Juan Carlos Osorio’s squad have been one of the star performers of the tournament so far, beating Germany and South Korea in their opening two games to move to the brink of the last 16.
Mexico take on Sweden in Yekatrinburg on Wednesday in their final Group F game looking to win their first three games at a World Cup for the first time in their history.
Real Betis midfielder Guardado said: “We want to win the group, this will be something historic for us.
"To get nine points in a world cup would mean that we are doing something unique.
“Really, we don’t fear anyone I hope that the fans understand the mentality that we have in the group of not fearing anyone, without wanting to sound arrogant.
“Our objective is not just to get out of the group, we want to go further and until we achieve that we won’t relax.
“We believe in our possibilities and we are very strong mentally.
“We don’t want to think about rivals, if you want to go far you have to be able to beat anyone.”

Mexico have outshone South American rivals Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay with their exciting, attacking style of play.
Their former Watford star Miguel Layun said: “I don’t know if it’s fair to say the South American teams have played badly, but now football is very equal.
“You don’t have the differences and gaps that existed before - anyone can compete with anyone.
“We see that each year the concept of ‘favourites’ is diminishing.
“Rather than say Brazil or Argentina have played badly, their opponents, such as Switzerland and Iceland, deserve a lot of merit for their tactics and how well they played against them.”
