World Cup 2018: Leicester ace Ahmed Musa’s agent in talks with Galatasaray over permanent switch
Nigeria international has struggled for form in England but a revival at CSKA Moscow could see him move onto pastures new in Turkey
LEICESTER forward Ahmed Musa is closing in on a move to Galatasaray.
The Nigerian star's agent claims they are in talks with the Turkish outfit over a possible season-long loan that could lead to a permanent deal.
Musa, who is currently playing for the Super Eagles at the World Cup, spent last term at CSKA Moscow after joining Leicester for £16million in 2016.
In his first season at the King Power Stadium, Musa scored just twice in 21 Premier League games.
His performances did not impress Claude Puel, with the Frenchman sending the 25-year-old back to his former club in January.
Seven goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for the Russian side was enough to warrant his place in the Nigeria squad for the World Cup.
Although the Foxes have not decided whether they are willing to let him leave for another temporary spell, it remains increasingly likely that Musa will not be a Leicester player next season.
Speaking to Turkish radio station Radyospor, agent William D’avila said: "Yes, we are in talks with Galatsaray.
"They are a huge club who'll play in the Champions League. So why not? The transfer is possible."
Galatasaray claimed their first Turkish Super Lig title in three years last term, with former Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomes netting 29 league goals.
Musa has interest from several clubs but already has his heart set on relocating to Turkey.

D’avila added: "Musa has offers from other clubs but he's keen on playing for Galatasaray.
"We are currently working on a loan deal with an option to buy. I think we can say there's a 50 percent chance of Musa joining the club."
