Who won Germany vs Mexico?

HIRVING LOZANO was the hero as Mexico recorded a stunning 1-0 triumph over world champions Germany.

Mexico were absolutely fantastic in the first-half, leaving three men high up the pitch and surprising the German centre-backs on the break.

And the gamble paid off, as a swift counter-attack ended with Lozano lashing in at the near-post past Manuel Neuer.

The Mexicans had a terrific chance to make it two after the break, but Javier Hernandez's cross-field pass was inches away from playing Miguel Layun clear.
