Sir Keir Starmer
Sir Keir Starmer is the 58th and current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He has held position as leader of the Labour Party since 2020 and has been elected the MP for Holborn and St Pancras since 2015. He was knighted in 2014 for his services to criminal justice, which included leading the Crown Prosecution Service until 2013. His key pledges include plans to raise £8.5bn in taxes without raising income tax, NI or VAT, cracking down on junk foods and drinks, lowering the voting age to 16, and boosting housing with 1.5m new homes.
