Simon Thomas is the presenter of Sky Sports’ flagship football results show Soccer Saturday. He replaced Jeff Stelling in the prestigious post in 2023. He has been a TV presenter since 1999 when he started his career on Blue Peter, before moving to Sky Sports in 2005, where he worked on Sky Sports News alongside Georgie Thompson along with a variety of other roles. Thomas married Gemma in 2005 and she died in 2017 of acute myeloid leukaemia. He paused his career for a few years to look after their son Ethan. In 2021 Thomas married Derrina Jebb at Norwich Cathedral and the couple announced the premature birth of a daughter in October 2022.
