MEET  NAOMI  SCHIFF

SKY’S NEW F1 STAR  AND FORMER PRO- RACER WHO COUNTS  LEWIS HAMILTON  AMONG HER  BIGGEST FANS

The 28-year-old presenter joined the Brit broadcaster back in March as a co-host of new Sky Sports F1 show Any Driven Monday, which can be streamed on YouTube.

She was cruelly trolled online by one idiot who questioned the reasons why she landed the gig - without knowing about her impressive background as a pro  racing driver.

The Rwandan-Belgian  began racing at just 16 with the Southern African Formula Volkswagen and in 2014 landed the Clio Cup China Series with seven wins  from ten races.

Naomi has also competed in the GT4 European Series, the gruelling 24 Hours of Nurburgring - recognised as one of the world's toughest races - and since 2019 been part of the W Series.

Sir Lewis was quick to point out her brilliance on the track after the online attack, saying: "Naomi is an ex-professional racing driver & totally qualified. Long way to go to change attitudes in sport."

The road ahead looks good for Naomi now though, and she has been a breath of fresh air for Sky's F1 coverage.

And with plenty of action still to come this season, fans will be looking forward to seeing a whole lot more of the stunning presenter on their screens.
