I’m a footballer who won but now I fear my fame will stop me ever returning to the game
says Finn Tapp
At 16, Finn Tapp could have been forgiven for thinking he'd see his name in lights because of his football ability, having already made his debut for MK Dons and SCORING in a 4-1 loss to Norwich.
Sadly Finn got released by the Dons and 'fell out of love with the game' before reigninting his passion at Oxford City - and then finding a whole new Love altogether.
He was 20 and halfway through the season when he applied to go on Love Island and after getting picked told his his livid footie boss he was off to South Africa to start filming - as he was about to board the plane.
Finn won the show with Paige Turley and revealed they are STILL together. Finn said: "Paige and I are very lucky that we haven't had many bad experiences that come with being in the public eye."
The hunk would love to play for a decent team again but concedes there's a "stigma" attached to reality stars, adding: "I don't want to be known as the person who's playing just because of the show."
For now, Finn helps young footie hopefuls who, like him, were thrown into the pro ranks. But watch this space... he could be back on our screens soon, but this time with his boots - and shirt - on.
