Nick Knowles denies being a womaniser and claims to be single – despite being linked to EIGHT women over past year

NICK Knowles has rubbished claims that he’s a womaniser after being seen out with a number of women across the past year.

The DIY SOS star, 55, made an appearance on today’s Lorraine to promote his first album – and during the chat Lorraine Kelly brought up his connection to several beautiful women.

Over the past year, this has included Julia Suzuki, Lark Rise to Candleford actress Olivia Hallinan, and former Towie star Pascal Craymer – who claimed he was having a “midlife crisis” after their split.

Joking that the pair could be dating themselves not they’ve been seen together, Nick was quick to rubbish the rumours, and said: “I’m picking up this reputation as a womaniser, and I’m not actually dating anybody.”

He later went on to explain that the string of women he had been photographed with were more innocent than they seem, and were actually just close friends and acquaintances – some of whom were happily married.

This included a mystery blonde that he was seen getting close to at the Pride of Britain awards last week – who is actually the woman in charge of the PR for his album release.

Another ‘mystery brunette’ he was seen out with he explained was actually a fellow TV presenter pal called Tori.

He revealed: “Her husband doesn’t particularly like going to events and I was on my own going to an event so I said ‘do you wanna come along?’. So she came along.”

Speaking about the claims, he said that he’d grown a “thick skin” to them – but thanked the star for the opportunity to set the record straight.

“Whenever I have a chat with you, I know I can always talk situations,” he told her.

“People in interviews are worried to ask me about all the people I’m seen out with – and I’d much rather people ask because then I can say ‘do you know what?’”

He then joked: “I kind of have decided now that I can’t be seen out to dinner, or seen with anybody as a friend.”

During his interview, he also took the opportunity to praise his ex-wife Jessica, and spoke of close they are despite their split.

He said: “[I have] a fantastic relationship [with her].

“I can’t say enough about Jess – she’s the most amazing, amazing mum. She’s the most amazingly calm human being.”
