Aaron Ramsey reveals Arsenal Fan TV-inspired nickname – but only found out about it through team-mate Rob Holding
The midfielder's team-mate now refers to him as 'Ham Roll' after the popular YouTube channel
ARSENAL’S Aaron Ramsey has revealed his Arsenal Fan TV inspired nickname, despite not watching the popular online channel.
Ham roll anyone?
The midfielder took some time out for an interview with the Sunday Times before today’s game as Arsenal take on Liverpool.
During the interview Ramsey revealed his Arsenal TV-inspired nickname.
He said: “Ha ha, no (I don’t watch Arsenal Fan TV). Though I’ve been called a Ham Roll on there or something.”
“Is it a good thing or bad thing? I haven’t a clue, mate. But Rob Holding calls me Ham Roll now.”
The 26-year-old shouldn’t worry too much though as Ham Roll seems to be common terminology on the YouTube channel from Arsenal TV regular “Troopz”.
In which Arsene Wenger, Granit Xhaka and referee Lee Mason have also been called a ‘Ham Roll’ – a strong feeling that it’s not seen as a sign of affection.
But then again who doesn’t enjoy a Ham Roll?
Arsenal take on Liverpool at Anfield today as they hope to push further to prove themselves for the Premier League title.
However it could be a tough game as Liverpool are currently undefeated for their 2017-18 campaign.
