Urban Outfitters slammed for new ‘extreme crop top’ that doesn’t even cover your bra
YOU WOULDN'T want to wear this top in the cold.
Urban Outfitters have been ridiculed for creating a top so small that it doesn’t even cover your bra.
The high street fashion store is launching the minuscule item called the "extreme crop tank top shrug" for £13 this summer.
Not only does the top not even conceal your underwear, but it's also see-through, leading to many questioning how anyone could even wear it.
The product has been removed from the website, but the original description read: “The ultra-sexy way to layer with this teeny cropped tank top by Out From Under.
“Cropped above chest for the coolest layered look featuring a crop neck and thin shoulder straps.”
Twitter user, a senior editor at lifestyle website Racked, shared an image of the clothing item saying: “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.”
Her post has been liked over 600 times, with many of her followers sharing their disbelief at the garment.

@Lizkelley agreed saying: “How is this a thing people would pay to wear?”
And @mrgrahamksmith said: “I’ve heard of shrunk in the wash…but come on!”
Not everyone slammed the clothing though.
Twitter user @DebCrawley said: “Finally a tank top with the kinda boob room I need!”
Alanna has since done a on Racked asking questions about the top ranging from “why?” to “under what possible circumstance would you wear this?”
The top was created for Urban Outfitters by label Out From Under.
Their brand, according to its description on e-commerce site , draws inspiration from the "detached nonchalance of the nineties grunge movement."
Out From Under's description reads: "Out From Under clothing channels counterculture within super seductive and ultra-feminine forms.
"Alternative, edgy and streetwise, Out From Under clothing will ensure you look as cool as you feel."
Urban Outfitters has been contacted for comment.
While this top has been raising eyebrows, one of the store's other items was so popular it got its own instagram account.
A £76 Urban Outfitters puffa jacket has over 2,000 followers on the social media site.
Another item that is baffling shoppers, however, are some Topshop ‘mum jeans’ with transparent knee panels.
