'Sun Holidays have stood test of time'
Lovable park favourite Bradley Bear meets Bradley Clayton - one of his biggest fans.
Bradley, now 12, had his first close encounter with his furry friend two years ago, but has been enjoying Sun Holidays since he was a toddler.
The youngster met his namesake on a memorable break at Haven Seton Sands in Longniddry, in East Lothian, Scotland.
He was on holiday with his sister, Eva, now nine, and parents, Jillian and Anthony.
They were joined by family friends Oksana and Paul Clegg and their children Luke, 18, and ten-year-old Lucia.
Business development manager, Anthony, 37, has fun memories of his own early Sun Holidays taken as a ten-year-old with his parents Irene and Peter and his sisters, Adele and Wendy.
They returned year after year to Haven Marton Mere in Blackpool and Anthony remembers many hours fishing and exploring cycle trails on his bike.
And so when he was choosing his own family break there was only one option - Sun Holidays.
Anthony explains: "Sun Holidays have stood the test of time.
"They were amazing value for money then and you can't beat them now.
"If the children are having fun - which you know they will - then mum and dad get a holiday as well!"
For their break at Seton Sands, Jillian and Anthony, who live in Oldham, were joined by their best friends, Oksana and Paul, from nearby Bury.
Housewife, Oksana, 40, and Paul, 46, a senior civil technician, agree their couldn't have been better.
Jillian, 37, a medical secretary, adds: "Seton Sands had everything to offer.
"Superb accommodation, a good choice of food and excellent entertainment.
"Our Bradley fell in love with Bradley Bear when he was just three.
"The park characters are so magical for children.
"For Bradley it was incredible sharing his name with his cuddly hero."
And next year the youngster will no doubt be showing off Bradley Bear and his fellow Seaside Squad favourites to a younger brother or sister - mum, Jillian, is expecting to give birth this week!
'Bargain Sun breaks are simply the best'
When Amanda Fry and Alan Kerr first met nine years ago they had many things in common.
Having known each other while working at the same telecommunications firm in their early twenties their paths crossed again years later at a mutual friend's wedding.
Alan asked Amanda out for a drink and their romance soared from there.
They shared a love of music, going to the cinema and as it turned out - enjoying as children.
The both grew up having brilliant bargain breaks - Amanda with her family to Park Resorts Heacham Beach, near King's Lynn, Norfolk, and Alan with his family to Haven Church Farm, Pagham, West Sussex.
So when the idea came up of their first holiday together as a couple they both agreed they couldn't do better then going with their favourite newspaper.
They plumped for Park Resorts California Cliffs, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and they had such an awesome holiday that it was their first choice destination for the next eight years.
Now they are joined on their great breaks by their children, Alex, four, and 20-month-old Ava.
Amanda, 36, a part-time office administrator, says: "We have two holidays a year with The Sun - they are amazing.
"Alan and I loved them as a couple and now we can't get enough of them as a family.
"That just shows how versatile they are.
"There is something for everyone.
"All ages mixing together with unbeatable amenities and terrific entertainment.
"There is so much for Alex to enjoy and Ava is fast catching up.
"At four years old he would stay in the pool for hours on end if he could - as it is we will usually go twice each day.
"One good way to entice him out is to say it is time for the children's club.
"The entertainment staff are so enthusiastic and really engage with the youngsters and get them involved.
"He is forever bringing things away with him that he has made and proudly showing them to us.
"He gets a great deal of independence and yet we are never far away.
"Ava has already caught on to enjoying the swings and slides of the adventure playgrounds and Great Yarmouth is a superb destination if you are looking for beautiful beaches.
"What more could you want?"

Well, Alan, 37, a senior design engineer, gets to spend quality time with his kids.
He explains: "We lead such busy lives when we are not on holiday.
"I am lucky if I see Alex and Ava for an hour in the mornings and the same again when I get home from work and they are off to bed.
"So, just packing our bags, jumping in the car and finding ourselves at the holiday park of our choice a few hours later is ideal.
"We get a quality holiday all together and we have so many fantastic memories already.
"It's no wonder that Amanda and I still look back at the Sun Holidays we shared when we first met.
"And even earlier to the breaks we went on with our own brothers and sisters."
The couple, from Milton Keynes, are sure Alex and Ava, will be enjoying their family Sun Holidays for many years to come.
They agree: "They are simply the best!"
'Non-bookers must be completely insane'
Sun Holidays mean fun, relaxation and babies for Debra and Matthew Doogue.
Their first child, now six, was conceived on a trip to Warwickshire and christened Kieran Warwick, after the place they stayed at.
Then along came Orla, now three, conceived after a night of holiday romance on the Isle of Wight in 2013.
Debra, 34, explains: “I really wanted to give our daughter the middle name Wight, but because Matthew liked the first name Isla we thought it would be a little bit too cheesy.”
Debra and Matthew are long-time fans of Sun Holidays.
They went on their first one together while they were at university and have been on more than 20 trips since.
Debra, of Swadlincote, Derbyshire, says: “We tell all our friends who go to the parks – but not on a – that they must be mad.
