Eva Longoria reveals all about developmentally disabled sister Liza on Loose Women in touching interview

EVA Longoria has opened about her ‘amazing’ disabled sister Liza in a touching interview on Loose Women.

The Desperate Housewives star was a guest panellist on Friday’s show and shone a light onto her life with her 50-year-old sister.

The Loose women, including Andrea McClean, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha, were speaking about autism when Eva opened up about Liza.

Eva explained: “My sister has just turned 50 and she’s amazing.

“She was born premature so she has mental disability – it’s similar to Down’s Syndrome, she’s fourth or fifth grade level.”

Born into a family of four girls, Eva revealed Liza was the oldest and described her as “hilarious”.

Eva revealed a fond memory, explaining about the time Liza was introduced to José Bastón, Eva’s now husband.

Speaking about Liza’s reaction, Eva said: “I introduced her to my boyfriend and she was like: ‘Oh, another one?’

“She has no filter – she’s the light of my life.”

During her appearance, Eva also opened up about her friendship with Victoria Beckham.

Eva said: “We have sleepovers in pyjamas and our hairdresser Kenny brushes our hair until we go to sleep!

“We met so many years ago in Los Angeles and she’s now my loyal friend – she’s very loyal and she’s super smart.

“Victoria is my Queen!”

When asked whether the usually stern designer ever smiles, Eva quipped: “She’s the funniest person I know.

“She’s so funny – she makes me laugh!”

On Thursday night, Eva hung out with Victoria and David’s eldest son Brooklyn, who she is incredibly close to, in London’s Winter Wonderland.

She explained: “I’m sure he sees me like [an aunty].

“I’m godmother to Harper.”

The former Desperate Housewives star had a ball with Brooklyn – and former Spice Girl Mel C – at the event but joked: “Being with aunty Eva isn’t as much fun as his friends!”
