EastEnders spoilers: Ben Mitchell drops bombshell on ex Callum Highway
THE chemistry is still palpable between former spouses Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway.
But before a Ballum reunion occurs, the mechanic has some bad news for his other half next week in EastEnders.
Lola Pearce takes it upon herself to push the former lovebirds back together as she invites Callum (portrayed by Tony Clay) to watch her daughter Lexi perform at a pageant.
However, the police officer declines, desperate to avoid an awkward run in with Ben (Max Bowden).
Since the breakdown of their marriage, Callum first rejected Ben, believing he had been unfaithful.
But as time has gone by and he realised Ben had actually been raped by Lewis Butler, Callum tried to rekindle their marriage.

Ben refused, believing Callum deserved better than him and only wanting to focus on healing from his past trauma.
In later scenes, both Ben and Callum attend Lexi's pageant - before the former realises he has some troubling news to share.
But just as he's about to open up, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) interrupts them in a haste with some bad news of his own.
Before Lexi's performance, Lola was hit with another dizzy spell and collapsed due to a seizure.
