Denzel Dumfries next club odds: Chelsea join Manchester United and Tottenham in race for Netherlands wing back
MANCHESTER UNITED and Tottenham have been joined by Chelsea in the battle to sign Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries.
The Red Devils and Spurs are both priced as 6/1 favourites with Sky Bet, but Chelsea are just behind at 7/1.
The Dutch international impressed during last summers Euros campaign where the attacking fullback bagged two goals and an assist in Netherlands' run to the round of 16.
His solid displays in the Euros earned the 26-year-old a £12m move from PSV to Inter Milan.
The right wing-back impressed in his first season in Italy, winning the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana, leading to reports of another move this summer.
New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, also a Dutchman, has been linked with signing the right-back, which became a bit of a problem position at the club last season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka had been United's first choice in the position for two and a half years before losing his place to Diogo Dalot midway through last season.
Dalot did well but ten Hag still feels the need for more strength in that area.

Tottenham are also joint favourites to sign the Dutchman, with Antonio Conte also in need of a new right-back.
Dumfries being used to playing as wing-back means he'd fit well into Spurs' system.
Spurs have been linked with a handful of right-backs this summer, with Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty failing to put consistent runs of form together last season.
Chelsea's interest has also been peaked recently, due to the possibility of Romelu Lukaku being sent back to Inter Milan on loan, and a potential swap-type deal being made.
Thomas Tuchel's side are 7/1 with Sky Bet to secure Dumfries' signing, who are looking for right-back reinforcements, specifically someone to offer competition to Reece James.
Bayern Munich are also rumoured to be interested in the Dutchman, priced at 16/1 with Sky Bet.
