A SCOTS Come Dine with Me contestant has revealed how bosses told him to keep his mysterious job a secret.

Robert Lee, from Seamill, North Ayrshire, appeared on the hit teatime show in September, when it was filmed in Inverclyde.

"I was asked not to talk about it on the first night, as they didn’t want it to overshadow the first show.

"They wanted to keep the fact I’m a psychic for later on in the week, as it’s a good conversation starter. I had to downplay it a bit."

When it was his turn in the kitchen, the medium used his supernatural powers to give him a "helping hand".

As he connected with his aunt in the spirit world, who was "a great cook when she was this side of life".

The Ayrshire man rustled up a mouth-watering menu of slow cooked lamb, Turkish meatballs and Eton mess.

Reflecting on his impressive cheffing, Robert joked he wouldn't hesitate to cut a few corners if he done it again.

And said: "If I was to do the show again, I wouldn’t cook much, I’d probably take everything in with me ready-made from the supermarket. 

"You need to have everything prepped. I would’ve made it a lot easier for myself and not made everything from scratch.
