DAILY showers will leave showerheads clogged up with limescale which is pretty tough to shift.

But more and more of us have fixed showers which are, let’s face it, a pain to take apart for a regular clean.

But there is one very simple life hack that will change your bathroom cleaning routine forever.

And it will even save you money.

All you need is a watertight plastic bag, a tag tie or string, and some vinegar.

Here’s what you do:

• Check that the bag is big enough to slip over the shower head – a freezer bag will work for smaller heads but bigger ones may need a carrier bag.
• Mix the vinegar with equal parts of water and half fill the plastic bag.
• Slip the bag over the shower head, making sure the whole head is submerged.
• Tie the bag securely onto the pipe behind the head, using the tag tie or string. Electrical tape also works but can be harder to get off.bathroom
• Leave for several hours or overnight.
• Remove the bag and rinse the shower head, making sure you run it for a few seconds before jumping in!
