He is trying to prove that he was wrongly convicted and handed a life sentence.

Bamber denies shooting his parents, sister and twin nephews at White House Farm in Tolleshunt D’Arcy, in Essex.

A petition was launched on change.org in an attempt to force Essex police to hand over documents which Bamber says is crucial to prove his innocence.

His supporters are flogging the signed pens at £2.50 each.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Old Bailey in 1986.

What happened at White House Farm?

Jeremy Bamber killed five members of his family on 7 August 1985 in Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Essex.

Police were called to the scene in the middle of the afternoon by Bamber, who said his sister Sheila had gone “beserk”.
He said that she had used her dad’s rifle on the family.
Police found Bamber’s parents, sister and twin nephews dead in White House Farm.
Police initially accepted what Bamber was saying and that Sheila had killed herself.
Months before the murder, Bamber had been treated in a psychiatric hospital for schizophrenia.
He was arrested after an ex-girlfriend told police that he hated his family and wanted their money.
According to the prosecution, Bamber left an open bible and gun beside Sheila’s body to make it look like a suicide.

Bamber is currently serving his life sentence in HMP Full Sutton, in Yorkshire.

In March, he wrote a rambling Mothers Day message to his parents where he insisted his innocence.

The bizarre message was read aloud at the site of his parents grave by an ardent supporter.

Supporter Trudi Benjamin, 47, was filmed reading the sick note by the grave of Nevill and June.

He wrote: “It must be heartbreaking for you, looking down, seeing me punished for no reason, that the British justice system has failed me.”

In December 2015, Bamber penned an open letter to Essex Police in a bid to locate the documents that he says are key to his release.
