He has since become engaged to boyfriend Gareth, with the pair revealing their happy news with an announcement in The Times in 2018.

Now, the 32-year-old has told fans that things are “a different world” and “slightly more adult now”.

“I think that the audience will be fascinated that we aren’t talking about Spencer [Matthews] and Caggie [Dunlop] on the Embankment any more,” he said, speaking to the .

“What you WILL see, however, is wedding planning. I want to be able to show what we’re thinking of doing for our wedding.”

“And I don’t want to do it in a naff way,” he continued.

“If we’re going to be planning it on the show, I want to create a Richard Curtis-type wedding.

“And that’s never happened before on a show like this – with two men at least. What a wonderful privilege.”

He added: “We are so incredibly lucky in this country to be able to do this. And you know – there are no rules. Look at Stanford from Sex And The City 2. Look at that wedding. No rules. We are doing stuff like that.”

Gareth and Ollie had been friends for ten years before their friendship turned to romance.

He is a regular feature on Ollie’s social media profiles and the pair regularly pose for sweet pictures together.

Ollie has previously made no secret of his struggle to find love and even took part in Celebs Go Dating earlier this year to find the perfect person.

However, it seems he finally realised Gareth was the man for him and the pair started officially dating shortly after the show ended.
