POWER fans are in for an almighty whodunnit as the latest trailer for episode 12 reveals another time jump will take place as the hunt for Ghost's killer continues.

Season six of the hit Starz show returned last week, following from the devastating conclusion of episode 10 which saw protagonist James 'Ghost' St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) shot by a mystery assailant in his nightclub Truth during its sixth and final season.

The final five episodes will focus on the perspective of each of the suspects, and episode 11 focused on Dre (Olurotimi Akinosho) and the events leading up to Ghost's death, and revealed that Dre heard a gunshot as he made his way to Dre' club, putting him out of the equation.

He was later sent back to prison where Dre's right-hand men 2-Bit and Spanky seize the opportunity to finish him off once and for all in prison.

Now just six suspects remain – Saxe, Tommy, Paz, Tate, Tasha and Tariq - and the US network has revealed a teaser clip of episode 12 and it looks like another time jump will take place and bring us back to the present day.

As the show gears up to airing its final ever episodes, the show's creator Courtney Kemp hinted they will focus on a character that "everyone loves to hate".

Whether that person is also Ghost's shooter remains to be seen, but she added to TVLine: "I always knew that Ghost was going to have to get some sort of consequence for his behaviour.

"Was that going to be incarceration or homicide? Who could say?

"But I made a promise to the audience very early on that he was dead or in jail or some version of that: getting shot, getting hurt, losing everything."

Power first aired in June 2014 and focuses on Ghost, a ruthless and intelligent drug dealer, and his family.
