Huge boost to the economy

Did you know?

Beyoncé donated £2 million to the Los Angeles relief fund after seeing the devastation caused to the city.

Head to head with Oasis

It was The Sun that reported the former Destiny’s Child megastar would go head-to-head with Oasis for ticket sales in London – with millions of fans expected to rush to get seats to the shows.

A music source told us at the time: “Beyoncé is about to raise the roof. The demand for tickets will be just like Oasis’ and will rival the rush of fans to get their hands on a seat.

“2025 is going to be an incredible year for live music.”

Setlist predictions

Cowboy Carter tour, aptly named after Beyonce’s eighth studio album, will kick off in April, 2025.

It will be Beyonce’s fifth all-stadium tour and fans are anticipating to hear the songs from the latest album.

With discography as vast as Beyonce’s, it’s nearly impossible to predict what other songs would make the cut.

However, fans are certain that tracks from Renaissance album won’t be making a comeback as they were performed at the last tour.

Brass and dancers – what to expect on Cowboy Carter tour

Beyoncé gave the world a high-profile preview of how Cowboy Carter’s material will play out live, in a Christmas Day half-time show during an NFL game in Houston.

Featuring special guests including Post Malone, Shaboozey and her daughter Blue Ivy, she ran through a medley of Cowboy Carter tracks complete with live brass sections and dozens of dancers.

Opening act revealed?

Although Beyonce hasn't announced if there will be a supporting act or who it might be, fans have already made some guesses.

Shaboozey has been the most popular option as he collaborated with the pop legend on Cowboy Carter and performed alongside her at NFL halftime show last December.

His music is known for blending hip-hop, country, rock and Americana genres, and he received five Grammy nominations this year.

During red carpet interview at Grammy's, Shaboozey acted mysterious when asked about Beyonce's tour.

He said: "I can't speak on that. We keep that tight-lipped."

He also added: "She's a magician, and she always has a plan. So if I'm a part of that plan, I'm ready for it."

Fans fume at Ticketmaster

Fans took to X, former Twitter, to express their frustration with Ticketmaster during presale.

Many were stunned at the ticket prices while others experienced tech glitches which kicked them out of the queue.

One person wrote: "No, seriously. How is THIS possible?? Or even LEGAL??? 2 GRAND for the 100s???? During the fan pre-pre sale??? Why does Ticketmaster act like it's bots ruining the sales when it's clearly them controlling the prices??"

Another fan was shocked at the price of seated tickets in London.

How a tour such as Cowboy Carter boosts the economy

Catherine Shuttleworth, chief executive at marketing consultancy Savvy, said: “Cities fight to have Beyoncé playing because she sparks a huge influx of visitors ready to spend.

“Her tours boost hotels and restaurants and even salons as people want to look their best.”

The NFL halftime show during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming Cowboy Carter tour.

Beyonce started off the show riding a white horse into the NRG Stadium and singing 16 carriages.

This halftime show, also dubbed Beyonce Bowl, was the first live performance featuring songs from Beyonce's genre-bending and record-breaking album Cowboy Carter.

NFL Christmas Gameday featuring two league games and Beyonce's half-time show performance are available to stream on Netflix.

Tour announcement

Beyoncé first revealed the Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour the evening before the Grammy Awards.

The next day, the pop icon took home both album of the year and best country album awards for her eighth studio album "Cowboy Carter";.

Beyonce added extra dates

After announcing her highly anticipated tour in the beginning of February, fans quickly filled up presale sign-up spots and flooded to social media to ask for more.

Following an incredible demand, Beyonce has since added a third night at the Stade de France in Paris as well as a fifth and sixth performance at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

She has also extended her runs at Soldier Field in Chicago and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, adding a third show in both cities.
