Her 2022 album, the Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess gathered a cult following and was widely regarded as a sleeper hit by 2024, peaking in the top five albums in the UK, the US and New Zealand.

Her unique sound is inspired by synth pop and 2000s pop songs and her aesthetic is influenced by Drag Queens, with Rolling Stones mag calling her 'Campy'.

Recently the singer has come under fire, after she fired the manager Nick Bobetsky who made her a star and also hit out online at her fans who ask for an autograph.

Back in August she fumed on TikTok, saying: "
