Love Island’s Niall Aslam returns to reality TV for US version of Ex On The Beach alongside Georgia Steel and Sam Bird

FORMER Love Island contestant Niall Aslam is set to make his big return to reality TV as he prepares to take part in the US version of Ex On The Beach.

The 24-year-old hunk, who quit the ITV2 show after just a week in the villa, will star alongside co-stars Georgia Steel and Sam Bird on the shows upcoming fourth series.

In a twist on the normal format, the fourth series of the US edition is actually a winter edition and will actually be called Ex On The Peak as it's filmed in New Zealand on a mountain.

Niall and his show co-stars will stay in a luxury Queenstown chalet, with filming for the production starting last month.

As well as the former Islanders, Ibiza Weekender star Callum Izzard will also appear.

Earlier this month, The Sun Online revealed that Georgia had also signed up to the UK's version of the popular dating show.

Niall's time in the famous villa was suddenly cut short after leaving for "personal reasons" last year.

Fans speculated over his exit after hitting it off with the likes of Kendall Rae-Knight and Georgia, who he was coupled up with before he left the show.

However, the star soon went on to reveal the real reason behind his decision was due to living with Asperger Syndrome.

Breaking his silence on Instagram, he wrote: "Right, so here it goes...for this post I am putting my laying it on thick brush down and hoping to hit the nation with a love potion.

"For far too long I have suffered in silence and not acknowledged a massive fact about my life which going into the villa has led me to finally realise and accept.

"When I was a young child I was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome, a fact that until this post has never shared outside of my close family."

Niall went on to thank ITV for the opportunity to rid himself of his "insecurities."

MTV had no comment and Niall did not reply to a request for comment when approached by The Sun Online.
