Love Island cast are ‘too obsessed with money and fame than finding true love – especially Curtis and Maura,’ says Celebs Go Dating guru Anna Williamson

ANNA Williamson has taken a savage swipe at some of the Love Island contestants for being "too obsessed with money and fame" to find true love.

The Celebs Go Dating relationship guru took aim at the likes of Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins for not being focused on just love.

The former journalist-turned-dating guru exclusively told The Sun Online: "There is absolutely more chance of finding real love on Celebs Go Dating rather than Love Island.

"I'm a massive fan of the show but it is more of a game show.

"You get a big pay packet and you know if you are single you get kicked off which automatically means people start playing a game."

Anna, who is back on the E4 show after a successful debut in series six also said: "A lot of the Love Islander's have pound signs in the eyes and you can see that.

"On Celebs Go Dating there are no story lines or scripts.

"The celebrities aren't prompted like on Love Island. It all happens naturally."

The life coach, 38, also also had a few choice words for certain Love Island cast members, questioning their relationship commitments and the price of fame.

She said: "Tommy and Molly obviously have genuine feelings for each other and will do all the magazines when they come out but do I think it will last? No I don't.

"Then I would say Curtis. "Now they are together and playing a blinding game but it's not genuine at all.

"Curtis is absolutely playing a game. He's no stranger to the celeb world.

"He's had a sniff of it because of his brother AJ being on Strictly and he wants some himself."

The television presenter did however have some positive words to say about some of her own cast, and in particular, Lauren Goodger.

She said: "This isn't the Lauren that people will expect from the Lauren portrayed on front of the mags.

"She is a very intelligent and articulate lady.

"She's also a very soft soul but she's no push over and I really respect her.

"She is very honest about her past relationships and to some degree how bad they have been.

"She wants to be happy but she doesn't feel the need to be in a relationship which is a great place to be in. She is a very independent woman now.

"So the hard thing has been finding her the right man for her."

However, both Lauren and co-star Megan Barton-Hanson appeared to look a little fuzzy-headed as they left the Celebs go Dating end of season party last night.

The television beauties appeared to  struggled with their dresses and even walked home barefoot after letting their hair down and enjoying a boozy night out with fellow cast members.
