Love Island’s Amber says she doesn’t love Greg yet and admits long distance romance won’t be easy
LOVE Island’s Amber Gill has admitted she isn’t in love with Greg O’Shea yet and said she's well aware their romance won't be easy.
The 21-year-old appeared on This Morning today alongside her mum and discussed how the pair planned to make a long distance relationship work with him living in Dublin while she remained in Newcastle.
She said: "I don't think it's going to be easy, but I think you just put that effort in. If you wanna to make it work, you make it work.
"I'm not stuck in one place, he has to be in Ireland for his rugby but I'm not stuck anywhere."
"It's an easy commute, just a quick flight."
When pushed about whether they were in love, Amber replied: "I couldn't possible say.
"It's going really well but on Love Island we kept things moving slowly, and we don't want to rush anything but it is going really well and I do really like him."
Just yesterday the pair batted off questions about their relationship status when they appeared on Loose Women.
Amber told the panel: "We're not official yet. We are exclusively dating but not official."
Greg added: "We are definitely going in the right direction.
"I definitely see us getting there but we haven't even known each other for a month yet.
"I've not been home [to Ireland] and she needs to meet my friends and family."
Greg flew home to Ireland today and reunited with his family for the first time since his impressive victory.
He admitted he would miss Amber though, as he shared a picture of them cuddling up in bed with the caption: “Home tomorrow and leaving this one in London. Might miss her a little bit.”
