Love Island’s Maura FINALLY has sex with boyfriend Curtis and says it was ’10 out of 10′
LOVE Island’s Maura Higgins has finally bedded Curtis Pritchard and admitted: “He was definitely worth the wait.”
The Irish promo girl, famed for her “fanny flutters” catchphrase, was seen trying to seduce the pro dancer under the covers on the ITV2 show.
After he told her: “Tonight’s not the night”, she fumed to the other islanders the next day: “A coffee? An orgasm would be grand.”
But days after quitting the villa, Maura, 28, revealed the loved-up pair had sex after Curtis travelled home with her to Ireland.
And she told The Sun on Sunday: “I’d give him a ten out of ten.”
Maura said: “We’ve had a good time. Was he worth the wait? Definitely, 100 per cent. I did try a few times in the villa, in the bedroom and on the outside bed.
“I tried but I didn’t succeed. Curtis said that it was for me and him alone, and he didn’t want to do anything in there. And that’s absolutely fine.
“Actually I’m glad now that we waited, because it made it even more special.”
Millions of viewers watched Maura and Curtis, 23, reach last week’s final.
While Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea won the £50,000 prize, Maura insists she and Curtis can last outside the villa.
She said: “Curtis is a good lad. “He’s so kind, chatty, fun, tall — I love a tall man — and he’s an amazing dancer.
“I find it so attractive, watching him dance.
“Some of the girls, Amber and Anna Vakili, did say to me they thought he was a bit camp. But I think that’s just banter with Curtis. He’s a very manly man.”
Maura, from County Longford, added: “It was so nice going home together, because everybody really loved him.
“People kept saying to me how good looking he was in real life, and wanting to take photos with him.
“We had a big party with all my family, friends. It was a crazy, wild night.
“But we also had a while to be together with no cameras. We were in the hotel and then we went for a walk in a forest near my home town.
“We have agreed we need to make sure we make time for each other, because we do really like each other and want it to work.”
Maura, who has travelled the world as a Monster energy drinks girl, was a hit with fans thanks to her sass and sexy innuendos.
She stirred up a storm in her first episode when she set her sights on Tommy Fury, famously giggling that he gave her “fanny flutters”.
And she raised eyebrows when she tried to kiss the boxer, who was then coupled with Molly-Mae Hague, and asked him: “Does she turn you on like I do?”
The episode sparked 709 viewer complaints to Ofcom — the highest over a single incident for the whole series — with fans accusing Maura of “predatory behaviour.”
But she hit back: “I’m a girl who knows what she wants and goes for it.
“Tommy and I had chemistry on our date but a lot of what I said was banter and I think Tommy would agree.
“Watching it back I could have approached it differently, but I just went for it.”
Maura’s raunchy comments later saw the other islanders quiz her about her bedroom antics, with Tommy asking: “How much do you love sex?”
But to their surprise she admitted she’d only ever slept with five men and one girl.
And she laughed: “I didn’t know that conversation was viewed! The girl is a friend, we partied hard that night and we still laugh about it to this day. She and I are 100 per cent into men. It was just fun.”
Maura has been in two long-term relationships but single for four months when asked to be on the show.
She added: “I had just come out of a bad relationship, and I had trust issues. But I don’t like being single, and wanted to find someone.
“I wanted to meet people I wouldn’t in normal life. But I honestly thought I’d be out in the first week.”
Maura dated childhood sweetheart James Finnegan for nine years.
They were engaged but the romance broke down. Mechanic James told The Sun on Sunday last month the split came after former hairdresser Maura set her sights on reality TV.
But she said: “I started travelling a lot with Monster and James didn’t want to travel with me. It didn’t end badly. I just fell out of love.”
She dated director Paul Caslin for two years. But Maura says they split because he was cheating.
And her road to romance in the Love Island villa wasn’t a smooth one either.
First she set her sights on Tommy but he coupled up with Molly-Mae.
A flirtation with Tom Walker proved a non-starter after he sniped to the boys: “It will be interesting to see if she’s all mouth.”
'A GOOD MATCH'
Dennon Lewis and Marvin Brooks were keen but neither swept Maura off her feet.
Things finally looked up after Curtis separated from “half-girlfriend” Amy Hart.
Maura explained: “When he was single, I went for it. I would have regretted it if I hadn’t told him how I felt.”
After her villa exit Amy claimed the pair weren’t “a good match” and claimed Maura had mocked Curtis behind his back.
But the Irish lass lashed back: “That’s just untrue. And Amy was there when I admitted to the girls I’d have chosen Curtis from the beginning.”
Curtis’s attraction to Maura also began a long time before they were coupled up.
He had sent her a message on Instagram before the show started.
But Maura said she is delighted the pair met in the villa, because she would never have responded to his advances online.
She said: “I have to meet someone in person and build things from there.”
The star is now looking to move to London.
She added: “The last week has been absolutely insane, quite overwhelming.
“But I’m excited for the future and for now I’m just going to enjoy it.”
Her verdict on finalists
Greg O'Shea and Amber Gill
I LOVE Amber, and Greg is just amazing.
Some people thought I was annoyed when the result was announced because my face was a picture.
But I was just stunned because I really thought Tommy and Molly would win.
I’m so happy for them both, and they are so happy together.
Look at the smile on that girl’s face when she’s with Greg. It says it all.
Ovie Soko and India Reynolds
OVIE and India are such a good couple. They are both so calm.
India was at the centre of the drama when Jordan Hames told her he liked her behind Anna Vakili’s back.
But that wasn’t India’s fault.
She was just about to tell him she only wanted to be friends, given she liked Ovie.
Did they sleep together in the villa? I honestly don’t know.
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague
I REALLY thought Molly-Mae and Tommy would win because it is Love Island, and they did find love, 100 per cent.
I was so shocked when they came second.
I don’t know if they had sex in the villa but I don’t think so because Molly was my best friend in there.
I’m sure she would have told me if they did.
Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan
I LOVE Anton and Belle. I got on so well with both of them.
I can’t wait to see them at the reunion show this weekend because they are two of the funniest people I’ve ever met.
We used to laugh all the time, proper belly laughs.
I hope they have a long and very happy future together.
