Love Island’s Michael fears he’s been suspended from firefighter job after villa antics
LOVE Island villain Michael Griffiths is worried he has been suspended from working as a firefighter.
The science graduate was an early favourite to win the ITV2 show but his behaviour towards eventual winner Amber Gill - including accusations of gaslighting her - saw him fall from grace.
And now that the show is over, Michael has said he may find it tricky to return to his job.
He told the : "I need to speak to work as right now as I feel like I will be suspended.
"The rest is a conversation that I need to have with my boss."
Michael previously revealed plans to try to raise money for the fire service after his time in the villa.
He said on This Morning: "Right now I am grateful I even got the opportunity to do it and I still want to support the fire service."
"I want to do a fireman calendar and I want to donate a lot of the money to the firefighter charity."
The bitter ex was stunned into shock on Monday night when Amber won the show with new boyfriend Greg O'Shea, taking to Instagram to broadcast the moment live.
Admitting he didn't expect Amber to win, he simply jumped around screaming: "Oh s***."
