Love Island fans in tears as Ovie gives Amber a shout-out in his ‘declaration of love’
LOVE Island fans were in tears tonight as Ovie Soko gave Amber Gill a shout-out in his 'declaration of love' for India Reynolds.
The 28-year-old basketball player finished in third place with his partner India during the live final.
But despite being romantically coupled up with the 28-year-old former Page 3 model, Ovie made sure to acknowledge his connection with Amber, 21.
The pair formed a firm friendship in Casa Amor and have stayed close throughout the rest of the series.
Referring to the beautician as his "little sister", Ovie melted viewers hearts with his words.
He said: "I came into this Love Island villa looking for the opportunity to find someone special.
"I arrived four weeks ago in Casa Amor, I met a fiery girl that backed me from day one, and grew on me as a little sister."
Writing on Twitter, one wrote: "Amber and Ovie’s friendship is so precious I cannot even #loveisland."
A second added: "So so cute how Ovie mentioned Amber being a sister to him in his speech as well as when sitting with Caroline #LoveIsland."
A third tweeted: "ovie calling amber his little sister in his speech love how he included her in it as well as India they're so precious."
Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "The fact that Ovie and Amber continue to love and support each other, to the point where Ovie is including her in his declaration speech and talking to Caroline!!
"We love a good brother-sister bond!!"
They weren't the only ones get emotional at Ovie's words, as another tweeted: "Ovie keeps taking about Amber being his little sister and it’s melting my heart."
A second wrote: "You can tell Ovie actually has real love for Amber the way he continuously refers to her as his little sister."
