Love Island’s Jordan caught ‘gaslighting’ Anna by making her ‘look mad’ as he U-turns when India friendzones him, claim fans

LOVE Island fans have accused Jordan of "gaslighting" Anna by making her "look mad" as he tried to do a U-turn when India friend-zoned him.

The 23-year-old tried to backtrack about his feelings for India after being caught having a cosy chat with her behind his girlfriend Anna's back.

After being called "disrespectful" in an explosive row with Anna and the other girls in the villa, Jordan went on the defence.

He said: "You don't know what I've said. Am I not allowed to have a conversation with someone?

"When did I say that I like her? I never said that I like her."

Maura shouts: "You just said it! You're a liar!"

Jordan then turns to using insults towards furious Anna, saying: "You're the most negative person I've met in my life."

She said: "What am I shouting about? Curtis told Maura you like India and when I come up to you you say you were going to tell me today.

"You've been avoiding me for two days and made me feel like a piece of s***. You're an embarrassment."

Despite him denying that he was "cheating" on Anna by making a move on India, Jordan had actually pulled the new girl for a chat.

He told her: "I wanted to pull you. It's a bit of a tough conversation to have but I feel like I need to have it.

"I know that you are getting on with ovie, i'm not trying to get in the way of that at all. But I just felt like I needed to get something off my chest for me.

"I feel like I don't regret making Anna my girlfriend but after the past couple of days I have felt myself gravitating towards you.

"I feel like we get on well and actually have good conversations.

"Obviously I talk to Ovie and talk to some of the girls, other than that, you're my mate in here."

Jordan asked: "Mate?"

Furious fans accused Jordan of "gaslighting" Anna.

One said: "Wish I’d seen this #LoveIsland episode 15 years ago and saved myself too many unnecessary apologies. I’m glad they’re showing that gaslighting is real, nasty, and common."

Another added: "I take #loveisland for what it is, but I just got so angry watching Jordan in that argument... “maybe if you weren’t so negative...”. Hands up ladies who has heard that one before #gaslighting at its best."

Someone else added: "What Jordan is doing is gaslighting Anna. I don't care what you think of Anna, the way Jordan is acting is awful. If he likes India he should just tell her straight. Making it out that she's paranoid and overthinking things when he's been telling curtis he likes India #loveisland."
