Love Island stars have to tell producers who they’ll pick in recouplings, admits Francesca

DUMPED Love Islander Francesca Allen has revealed the cast have to tell show bosses who they'll partner with BEFORE the dramatic recouplings.

The beauty, 23, exited the villa in last night's show along with firefighter Michael Griffiths, and she spilled the beans about life behind the scenes in a chat with The Sun Online.

Explaining how much involvement producers have, she said: "You do speak to them, but everything is your own opinion and your own feeling.

"They don't really have much input at all, they just ask you how you are feeling, who you interested in, ask if you want to talk to this person. It is solely your decision who you pick."
Francesca's short stay in the villa saw her try to woo professional dancer Curtis Pritchard, but she lost out to Maura Higgins in the battle for his affection.

While she didn't regret following her heart, she did admit the love triangle was awkward.

She added: "Being interested in someone that another girl is also interested in, it isn't what you want in life.

"If I was in the outside world I probably wouldn't bother pursuing it as such. I got along with Curtis well and it was what I felt at the time.".

Viewers saluted Francesca for making a hilarious recoupling speech on Friday when she chose Michael at the fire pit.

As the last girl left to choose she admitted she "had no choice" but to pick the heartbreaker, after Amber Gill followed her head and chose Irish rugby player Greg O'Shea.

Struggling to think of nice things to say about Michael she said he makes "good cheese toasties".

Kicking him while he's down, she said: "And I don't really have have a choice, so the boy I choose is Michael."

And fans rushed to Twitter to share their delight at the witty speech.

With Many dubbing it the "best recoupling speech ever".

Viewers had their prayers answered as Amber followed her instinct about ex Michael and decided not to take him back.

The move came after Amber has been subjected to a week of grovelling from her indecisive ex who insisted he wanted nothing to do with her less than a week ago.

Instead of letting Michael come crawling back, Amber has followed her gut and chose to recouple with Greg.
