Love Island’s Amy Hart lands job as Loose Women guest panellist and joins the show next Wednesday
LOVE Island's heartbroken star Amy Hart is joining Loose Women as a guest panellist, The Sun Online can reveal.
The 27-year-old, who quit the villa last week in the wake of her explosive break-up with Curtis Pritchard, will join the hit daytime show next Wednesday.
She told us: "I’m so excited, I’ve been a fan of Loose Women since I was 12.
"It’s my birthday tomorrow so this is the best present ever. I can’t wait to see the ladies next Wednesday."
Amy appeared on Loose Women yesterday alongside Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore and Brenda Edwards.
And it seems the star made such a big impression, she's been invited back.
Talking to the panel on Monday, Amy admitted there had been beef with Maura Higgins - but said it had nothing to do with 23-year-old Curtis.
The former air hostess told them: "Initially I didn’t warm to Maura because of her treatment to Molly and her treatment of Elma.
"However because she’s kind, caring and funny and we’ve both travelled a lot, so we bonded over that.
"You live in the same house as people – we did form a friendship."
She added: "So, then for her to once again move the goal posts to suit her situation to decide we were never friends in the first place because she wanted to get with Curtis, obviously it’s not the most ideal thing.
"But I left on good terms with her because I want all of my friends to be happy."
Amy also insisted the tear-jerking departure speech she read to the Islanders was all her own work.
Some fans had claimed that the show's producers wrote it for her.
She insisted: "A lot of people have said, I've read everywhere, that it was written by someone else.
"It wasn't - because if you watch the one by the fire pit, I lose it half way through and run out of things to say."
The star added that "6ft tall men" have since come up to her in the street to say she made them cry with her emotional words.
