LOVE Island fans have slammed the show as a "fix" - saying Joanna Chimonides was dumped to give Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill a shot at rekindling their romance.
The Sun revealed last night that bosses made a last-minute decision to force the couple apart — in the hope of a "happy ending" with Amber.
As Joanna was sent packing, one viewer tweeted: "Shocking how @LoveIsland have fixed that. Talk about managing the story line...#LoveIsland #fix #whatsthepoint."
Another said: "Love this #loveisland fix the most out of all the fixes."
A third insisted: "This show is such a fix 😂😂."
One other wrote: "Surely this Micheal thing is a fix? It’s what everyone wanted to happen."
A fifth said: "Love island producers wanted Michael to go back to Amber even if he doesn’t want to. Everything is staged and a fix."
Others were shocked at Joanna's fury that Michael didn't instantly offer to leave.
One wrote: "Joanna can f**k off. Everyone knows Michael wants Amber that’s why they voted for him to stay!"
Curtis delivered the bad news at the start of last night's show, saying: "The Islander we have decided we want to stay is Michael."
Joanna was angry that he hadn't instantly said he would leave the villa with her - branding the 27-year-old firefighter a "f**king snake".
Grabbing his face, Joanna told Michael: "If you found what you want then you better leave mate. But you clearly aren't so you're a f**king snake."
He later half-heartedly offered to quit alongside 22-year-old Joanna, telling her: "I've not nothing to stay for" but then failed to do so.
As Belle Hassan sobbed, Joanna told host Caroline Flack: "I'm a bit disappointed but it's fine."
