Love Island fans in hysterics as Marvin thinks Maura’s tears are for him after Curtis couples up with Francesca

LOVE Island fans were in hysterics when Marvin Brooks thought Maura Higgins was crying over him last night.

The dumped islander, 29, thought that the Irish grid girl's tear's were for him after she chose to recouple with new boy Chris Taylor, with her decision sending him home.

Several amused fans have taken to Twitter after witnessing the personal trainer's misunderstanding.

Because Maura was actually sobbing over Francesca Allen's decision to couple up with Curtis Pritchard.

One wrote: "Marvin thinking Maura cried for him made my day #loveisland"

While another added: "Marvin going over coz Maura was crying... she’s crying coz Francesca picked Curtis not coz she’s just got you a taxi home pal #Loveisland"

However, others praised Marvin's efforts at trying to cheer her up.
