ANGRY Love Island viewers have branded Maura Higgins and Molly-Mae Hague 'bullies' after the pair made fun of new girl Francesca Allen for flicking her hair.
The pair mocked Maura's love rival during last night's episode of the ITV2 show as she played with her raven locks while chatting to Curtis Pritchard.
"Let's see how many times she'll flick her hair in this conversation," Molly-Mae, 20, said to Maura as they looked on from a distance.
"Oh just watch," chimed in a visibly-unimpressed Maura, 28.
Clocking Francesca, running her hands through her hair almost immediately, Maura then turned to Molly-Mae and observed: "Four times already."
And while Molly-Mae warned her pal: "Don't watch it because you're just gonna get annoyed. Forget about it," Maura was unable to resist.
"It's just bulls**t, the Irish model vented. "It's absolute bullsh**t."
Many viewers were not happy about the pair slating the 23 year-old clothing store manager, however, calling them "bullies" on twitter.
"You mf bullies need to leave Francesca alone wtf," fumed one fan.
A second posted: "Jesus, for the love of god get [Maura] out. Not only is she the biggest slappa in there, she's a bully too."
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "I liked Maura at first but she's so bitter and childish now...nice to girls faces but slates them behind their back.Petty about Francesca touching her hair which is something lots of people do as a habit. Calm down."
One even simply tweeted: "MAURA YOU BITCH."
Francesca rubbed Maura up the wrong way from the outset when she picked Curtis to go on a date on her first day in the villa.
Since Amy Hart left on Monday, it looked like it was only a matter of time before Maura and the Dancing with the Stars professional coupled up.
The pair have been flirting for more than a week, upsetting Amy in the process, but now Francesca has thrown a curveball into the mix.
At the end of last night's episode, Maura was in tears after Francesca boldly choose to recouple with Curtis.
Francesca got to choose first in the ceremony and opted for the dancer, leaving Maura reeling and left to choose between new boy Chris Taylor and Marvin Brooks.
After choosing to send Marvin home, Maura broke down as Molly-Mae, Amber Gill and Anna Vakili consoled her.
While she claimed she felt guilty for Marvin's exit, Maura was clearly also emotional about Curtis coupling up with the newcomer.
Curtis, for his part, seems to be keeping his options open.

After the ceremony, he spoke to Maura in the bedroom, telling her: "I'm still wanting to get to know both of you, so there is not a door that's closed."
Later, he cornered Francesca and flirted with her.
"You made a very bold move," he said. "And bold moves usually get rewarded."
A preview clip for tonight's episode sees events take another turn, however, as Curtis is seen massaging a topless Maura, while Francesca looks on and brands him "disrespectful".
