FOUR Love Island contestants have been kicked out of the villa in a shock dumping and are already on their way back to the UK.
Viewers were given just 30 minutes to vote to save their favourite couple after last night’s episode – meaning the pair with the fewest votes got the boot and, in a shock twist, the Islanders were then given the power to axe another couple.
A TV insider said: "The Islanders are all shellshocked after the dumping which went on until the early hours of the morning."They thought just one couple was going but then they found out they would have to pick the second one.
"It's everyone's worst nightmare and came completely out of the blue as they celebrated Anna's birthday."
In dramatic scenes that will air tonight, the villa residents will be left in shock when Maura Higgins receives a text asking the Islanders to gather around the fire pit while they are having fun celebrating Anna Vakili's 29th birthday.
Following a vote to discover the public's favourite couple, the three couples - excluding Jordan Hames and Amber Gill, who are single - with the fewest votes are revealed and told they are at risk of being dumped.
More from Love Island
The couple with the fewest votes are dramatically dumped from the island and, with the other two pairs thinking they are safe, Tommy Fury receives a text explaining that is not the case.
It reads: "One more couple will be dumped, the other couple will remain in the villa.
"The couple which stays and couple that is dumped will be decided by your fellow Islanders."
The news will send shockwaves throughout the villa as a total of four people are sent packing.
Announcing the dumping last night Iain Stirling said: "It's now time to have your say. You can vote for favourite couple whether they are romantically involved or not.
"Those with fewest votes at risk of being dumped from the island. Remember you're voting for your favourite couple."
"Amber and Jordan are officially single and excluded from this vote."
Aside from them, all of the Islanders faced leaving despite the fact very few of them remain in real couples.
Viewers are convinced that Danny and Jourdan are one of the ones who have left after they failed to get air time for a couple of days in a row.
Fans claim Danny has been "edited out" ever since his exes Yewande and Arabella were kicked out in the same week.
One said: "RIP jourdan & danny, we thought you’d left a week ago tbh #LoveIsland."
Another joked: "The producers giving craig david more airtime than danny lmaooooo #LoveIsland."
Someone else said: "Lol just saw Danny, remember when he had a speaking role #loveisland."
