LOVE Island’s Maura Higgins has been accused of “playing a game” by dumped Islander Dennon.
During tonight’s episode the Irish grid girl confessed she had feelings for the ballroom dancer – but not everyone is so convinced.
Speaking on After Sun this evening, Dennon – who got to know Maura in Casa Amor – told Caroline Flack that she doesn’t even fancy him.
When asked if he thought Maura liked Curtis, he started laughing and said: "Nah. She don’t like him. She’s playing the game very well, very well."
In shock scenes this evening, Maura pulled Curtis for a chat and said: “This is a bit awkward for me. So obviously you were coupled up with Amy and when I came in here a lot of the girls asked me ‘who would you go for?’ and I said you.
“But I wouldn’t have done that because you were very strong and I wouldn’t have wanted to cause any trouble, but now you are single. And I just wanted to let you know that I do have feelings for you."
Curtis couldn't stop smiling and admitted to her that he had sent her a message on Instagram before they even entered the villa.
He added: "You are a very attractive young lady and I would be lying if I didn't say you were."
Maura continued: "None of the other guys I was coupled up with worked for me and I don't know if it was before you were in here and I just couldn't kind of focus."
Earlier in the episode, Maura, 28, wasted no time when it comes to scraping up Amy's leftovers after dumping Marvin.
She had picked Marvin to bring back to the villa over Dennon.

She made her move as she asked Curtis - brother of Strictly's AJ Pritchard - to teach her how to dance, right in front of Amy.
As the Islanders relaxed in the garden, Maura said: “Curtis will you teach me to dance then?”
Curtis agreed and gave Maura the lesson she'd been waiting for, and Amy clocked what's going on.
Afterwards Maura spoke with Lucie about her dance lesson with Curtis, saying: “I think I fancy him even more after today".
Fans have since slammed her for breaking girl code by not telling heartbroken Amy beforehand.
