Love Island’s Anton branded ‘the biggest snake in the villa’ by fans for giving Lucie bad advice and stirring up drama

ANTON Danyluk has once again been branded the "biggest snake in the villa" after fans accused him of giving Lucie Dolan bad advice and stirring the pot.

Love Island fans took to twitter in their droves during last night's episode writing: "Anton has low key been the biggest snake in there and people won't see it until they see it."

Viewers of the hit ITV2 show were not impressed when Anton, 24, pulled Lucie Dolan aside for a chat following her heart to heart with Tommy and urged her to give George Rains a chance, reducing her to tears in the process.

Lucie was clearly emotional after telling Tommy Fury that she can't just turn her feelings off for him, but when she spoke to Anton after their debrief, the Scottish gym owner turned the conversation back to the coupling she is currently in.

Failing to judge the situation, Anton asked Lucie: "What are you going to do about George, he deserves a chance."

Lucie replied: "I know and I am going to give to to him."

And while Anton claimed: "I'm not going in at you. I know you have obviously got to support your emotions on," he failed to make eye contact with Lucie and fiddled with his denim jacket as she spoke.

Clearly upset, a tearful Lucie then responsed: "I'm not a fake person, and I'm finding it hard because I feel guilty."

Anton then gave her a hug to console her, but once again brought the touchy subject George into the conversation.

He told her: "I'm not saying you're a fake person...I understand but I just want you to give [George] a chance."

Unimpressed, fans quickly turned on him on twitter, pointing out that he was the one who encouraged her to make a play for Tommy in the first place.

One user fumed: "Unpopular opinion: Anton's the biggest snake in the villa. Isn't the one who pushed Lucie to tell Tommy that she liked him in the first place?"

And it seems that wasn't an unpopular opinion with many fans sharing the same sentiment.

One wrote: "Anton is starting to have snake tendencies" while another weighed in: "Anton is a snake s***-stirrer & he's involved in every gossip."

This isn't the first time Anton has been branded a snake during this series either.

In the early days of the show, viewers were outraged as he tried to swipe Lucie from under Joe Garratt's nose.

"Snakes don't hiss they just go on Love Island and are called Anton," one irate observer posted on twitter last month.

As for Lucie, her love life on the show has been something of a rollercoaster so far.

In the first days in the villa, she was involved in a love triangle with Tommy and Joe, but ultimately plumped for Joe, who ended up being booted from the villa on day 14.

When Tommy then hooked up with Molly-Mae, Lucie confessed she still had feelings for him, but he told her he only had eyes for his current squeeze.

After entering Casa Amor, Lucie attempted to move on and picked Essex builder George to come back to the villa with her, but the chemistry has failed to sizzle between the pair.

Now she's admitted she's still carrying a torch for Tommy, will she listen to Anton and give George another chance?
